FDTS Ltd has been trading since 1965 and was originally founded by Mr. William (Bill) Davis and his wife Lottie. Bill was one of the pioneers of safety belts as well as children's seats and harnesses; he secured a number of patents for some of his designs and also worked closely with other seatbelt manufacturers.
Today, our work is focussed around the following activities, although many of these applications crossover a number of categories:

Automotive
This is our biggest market in terms of customer base. Currently we manufacture and refurbish seatbelts for classic and modern road vehicles.

Industrial Applications:
This is a growing area where many of the companies we work with require some form of webbing securing restraints.

Aviation Applications:
We supply a range of products to support aviation services.

Leisure Applications:
We regularly work with the film, theatre and TV industries and have supplied products for many epic productions. In addition we supply goods to many theme parks.
